Girl Scouts of Trailways Council, Inc. is licensed by GSUSA to sell Girl Scout supplies including uniforms, handbooks, leader guides, songbooks, gifts, recognition items, and accessories. All of the merchandise listed in the Girl Scout Catalog is available from the Girl Scouts of Trailways Council Shop. Dollars generated from purchases in the GSTC Shop remain in Trailways and help provide programs and services for girls and adults.

Our shop is located in the Promise Center, 1551 Spencer Road, Joliet and is open Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Tuesdays until 7 p.m. New items are always arriving. Come and visit the GSTC Shop to see what items are new and those that are on clearance.

Order forms are available online for your convenience. There are several ways that you can place an order:

By mail:  Complete the proper order form and mail along with your check made payable to Girl Scouts of Trailways Council, Inc.; send your form and payment to the attention of “Shop Manager”. If you would like your order shipped to you, please include proper postage, which is posted on the order form. We will process your order within 4 business days (not including Saturday or Sunday). If an item is out of stock, our Shop Manager will call and let you know when we can get the merchandise in for you.

By phone:  For your convenience, our shop has a voice mailbox that you can access 24 hours a day by calling (815) 723-3449 x2236. This mailbox is for placing credit card orders to be either picked up or mailed out to you. Please remember that if we are shipping the items to you, shipping and handling charges will be applied to your order. Please allow 2 business days to process your order.

Drive Through Window:  You can now call us 48 hours (excludes Saturday and Sunday) in advance to place an order, pay for it by either VISA or MasterCard, and make arrangements to pick it up at our convenient drive through window. Drive through hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The drive through is located on the west side of the Promise Center. Refunds, exchanges or cash/check payments cannot be transacted at the window. To preorder, call our NES Order Line at (815) 723-3449 x2236. Leave your name, telephone number, VISA/MasterCard Number with the expiration date, the items you wish to order, and when you would like to pick up your order. Please remember to allow us 48 hours to process your order. We will confirm your order and pick up date with you by phone. Note that your order will be kept in the drive through area for 48 hours from your requested pickup date. After that time your order will be waiting for you in the Council Shop.

Do not send your credit card numbers by email. Order forms can be completed online and emailed to the Shop Manager. You will receive a call verifying your order, and, at that time, a credit card number will be needed to complete your order. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. The order forms can also be downloaded and you can mail in a check for your order.

Payment Methods:  GSTC accepts Visa, MasterCard, cash, money order and checks.

Discontinued Items:  Even if Girl Scout Uniform Components are discontinued, they are still official. The GSTC shop has several uniform components available for a reduced price for all age levels. All sales are final on discontinued items. Visit the Shop to see all of our limited clearance items.

Iron-On Instructions:  Most Insignia, Try-Its, Badges, and the Fun Patches are now Iron-On. Please be sure to read and follow the complete instructions. GSTC is not responsible for damage to the uniform if directions are not followed.

Return/Exchange Policy:  Effective July 1, 2003. All Book Sales are FINAL. Exchanges and In-Store Credits will NOT be given on books/publications or discontinued items. In-Store Credits or exchanges will be accepted within 90 days of purchase and only WITH the original receipt and the GSUSA tags still attached to the merchandise. NO returns or exchanges will be accepted without an original receipt, and returns/exchanges must be within 90 days from the date of purchase. All In-Store Credits will expire on August 30th of the current Girl Scout Year (October 1 – September 30). You must present your receipt when using your store credit.

Sales:  Several times during the year, GSTC has sales on all uniform components and badges.

Frequent Buyer Card:  It’s back by popular demand! The Trailways Council Shop is offering a “Frequent Buyer Card”. When you purchase $10 worth of NES merchandise (excludes Trading Post items), you will receive one stamp for every $10 purchased. Once you have purchased $150 of NES merchandise, you can redeem your card for 10% off your entire purchase. Or, purchase $200 of NES merchandise and you receive 15% off your entire purchase. This “Frequent Buyer Card” is not valid in conjunction with other in-store promotions or coupons and can not be redeemed during any sale or with any other coupon. The Frequent Buyer Card is valid from October 1 through August 30th.
