Girl Scouting builds girls of confidence, courage, and character, who make the world a better place.

PROGRAM EMPHASES:
These emphases provide direction for the Girl Scout program that is adapted to meet the developmental, educational, emotional, and social need and interest of the girls. The Goals are for girls to:
Develop to her full individual potential
Relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect.
Develop values to guide her actions and to provide the foundation for sound decision-making
Contribute to the improvement of society through the use of her abilities and leadership skills, working in cooperation with others.

ADDITIONAL GIRL SCOUT MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
In order to meet the demands of various schedules and interests of all girls we offer membership through a variety of ways. A girl can join, or she may join to participate as:
An independant member called a Juliette
A troop member
A group member
A seasonal based program
Specific programs
These options are available to all girls ages 5-17
