CAMP POKANOKA: Platform Tents and TABINS

Two Tent Sites, Blue Jay and Flicker, are available April through mid-June and August through October. Both sites have a sheltered pavilion, wash stands, latrines and large fire circles. Each platform tent will house four campers. There are 10 tents at each site. Outdoor cooking unit kits are available for use.

In 2005, the first Tabin site was established. By the summer of 2006, there will be two sites, Whippoorwill and Chickadee. There are five structures at each site. A Tabin provides sleeping for eight campers, with four bunk beds. They are available year round, but do not have heat. Usage fee is the same as tent usage fees.
